In addition, it is loaded with a 3.5mm aux-in jack so players can plug in an mp3 player and jam along to their favourite songs. The final touch is a sleek racing stripe underlining the new Hot Rod logo. This guitar fits neatly inside its included gig bag and stows easily in airline overhead compartments. Both body and neck are made of eastern American hard maple and feature neck-through-body construction. The neck is fitted with an ebonized rosewood fingerboard with pearloid dot inlays and 22 medium frets.
