Matched microphone pair for stereo recording of any acoustic instruments in studio and on stage that contains two C214 large-diaphragm condenser microphones that have been designed as a cost-effective alternative to the AKG’s high-end C414 family. Each of the microphones captures sound by combining one capsule of the legendary C414 dual-capsule system and the patented AKG Back-Plate Technology, resulting in an outstanding performance close to the famous C414 XLII model. Every factory-matched pair of C214s is created from thousands of individual microphones selected by AKG‘s sophisticated computer-aided matching method. The result is the highest possible correlation over the whole frequency range and virtually identical sensitivity for stunning, three-dimensional recordings. The pair comes supplied with two elastic spider suspensions, two SA60 stand adapters, two windscreens and an aluminium carrying case.
