The ATR6550x from Audio-Technica designed especially for use with cameras. A switch on the microphone’s body allows you to shift easily between Wide and Far settings. In the Wide setting is appropriate for close and medium-range miking. Switching to the Far setting gives you even greater directionality to pick up sound from a distance. The microphone thus allows switching between cardioid and supercardioid polar patterns exactly according to your needs. The ATR6550x comes with a camera shoe mount,  microphone stand clamp, foam windscreen or AA battery.
