The PRS SE Special Semi-Hollow is an incredibly versatile electric guitar from the more affordable SE lineup, combining an ergonomic double-cut body shape with a semi-hollow design and an expanded H-S-H pickup configuration, making it equally at home in the studio or on stage.

The mahogany semi-hollow body with a single F-hole is topped with maple and dressed in a striking figured maple veneer. The Shallow Violin Carve body contour brings the playability closer to the high-end American Core models.

A Wide Thin profile maple neck is paired with a rosewood fingerboard featuring 22 frets. PRS’s signature bird inlays provide quick orientation and a classy aesthetic.

The tonal engine of this guitar includes two PRS 58/15 LT “S” humbuckers in the bridge and neck positions, offering a warm, vintage-inspired voice, and a middle-position Narrowfield DD “S” (Deep Dish) pickup – a compact double-coil pickup that blends the characteristics of humbuckers, single-coils, and P-90s. Two mini-toggle switches enable coil-splitting of the 58/15 humbuckers, unlocking up to 12 unique pickup combinations, from thick rock crunch to crystal-clear cleans.

The strings are anchored in a patented PRS tremolo system, with PRS-designed tuners ensuring rock-solid tuning stability. The guitar ships with a soft gig bag for easy and safe transport.
