Professional Bb clarinet with Boehm fingering system and 19 keys from CSVR Atelier Special series that has been carefully refined by Yamaha Artisans to offers players unrivalled freedom of expression, beautiful tone with exceptional presence and expressive capabilities throughout the dynamic range. It features a unique diamond shaped initial plate which identifies Yamaha high-end instruments, 6 tenon rings for improved definition and projection, and specially designed lift linkage system on Eb lever for smoother key action. An ergonomically engineered key shape of the A and register keys offers a more natural, comfortable playing feel, while the left-hand F/C key linkage improves playing feel and reduces wear. This model is equipped with low note compensation key that can help prevent the low F and E notes from sounding flat, particularly when playing powerful passages. The key fits within the lower joint for optimum effectiveness. The clarinet comes supplied with two barrels of different length, 65mm and 66mm, so the player can choose the barrel that is best suited to the pitch of the performance. Its body is made of Grenadilla, the keys are made of silver-plated nickel silver. The instrument comes supplied with a traditional case and multifunctional case cover.
