The Stylistics are a Philadelphia soul group known for their smooth ballads and distinctive falsetto vocals. Formed in 1968, their original members were Russell Thompkins Jr., Herb Murrell, Airrion Love, James Smith, and James Dunn. Rising to fame in the 1970s, they scored a string of R&B hits like Stop, Look, Listen, You Are Everything, Betcha by Golly, Wow, and You Make Me Feel Brand New. Their rich harmonies and emotive sound, shaped by producer Thom Bell, earned them multiple gold singles and albums, making them icons of classic soul.
