The electric double bass is a 3/4 size instrument with a solid maple body. Its maple neck is fitted with a rosewood fingerboard, ensuring a smooth playing experience. The bass features shaped metal supports, an adjustable metal endpin, and an open P-Bass-style tuning mechanism. Sound is captured by an active preamp system with a piezo pickup, which is built directly into the height-adjustable bridge for precise tone control. The instrument includes two control knobs for adjusting treble and bass, a 6.3mm line output, a 3.5mm stereo headphone output, and a 3.5mm AUX input for connecting an MP3 player or other audio sources. Finished in an elegant Violin Brown, the bass comes with a portable gig bag for easy transportation.
