The advantage of the Mini + over the Mini model is that the Mini + allows you to control PTZ cameras and supports the use of chroma keys and the addition of graphic logos to your video channel.

The Mini + allows you to switch between inputs by touching button sources, switching automatically, via software or via a T-bar with preset effect transitions. You can use the built-in HDMI audio, or you can insert audio from a microphone or external source using the 3.5 mm stereo input jack. There is also a 3.5 mm audio output connector for use with external speakers or an audio mixer.

You can monitor all four inputs using the unit's built-in color TFT display, or you can broadcast Program / Preview via HDMI output. Mini + supports video output up to 1080p60 via USB for use with a variety of third-party streaming software or NLE video editing systems. The RJ45 port allows you to connect to a LAN and control the Mini + software.
