Manfred Mann's Earth Band is an English rock group founded in 1971 by South African musician Manfred Mann. Known for their distinctive covers of Bruce Springsteen songs such as "Blinded by the Light," "Spirit in the Night," and "For You," the band enjoyed major chart success. After a brief hiatus around the late 1980s and early 1990s, they resumed activity and continue to tour and perform as of 2024.
