The sound is provided by a high-performance DAC chip ES9218P from the company ESS Technogoly, which takes care of Digital-Analog conversion.
It has a very low noise threshold, making the sound clear and accurate.
Thanks to the newer chip, the device has more than three times the power of its predecessor, the M3K.

The dual audio output brings listening through both the 3.5 mm jack and USB-C.
