Bleeding Through is a metalcore band from Orange County, California, founded in 1999 by vocalist Brandan Schieppati after his time with Throwdown and Eighteen Visions. Drawing influences from hardcore punk and Swedish melodic death metal, the band quickly made waves with their intense sound and emotional depth. Their breakthrough came with the 2003 album This Is Love, This Is Murderous, released after signing with Trustkill Records, which brought them critical acclaim and wider attention, including media coverage following a van crash that was filmed live on television. After further success with The Truth and Declaration, lineup changes and label conflicts led Bleeding Through to join Rise Records, releasing two more albums before an initial breakup in 2014. They reunited in 2017 and released Love Will Kill All on SharpTone Records. As of 2024, Bleeding Through has sold over 400,000 albums worldwide. The current lineup features Brandan Schieppati, Derek Youngsma, Marta Demmel, John Arnold, and Brandon Richter. Their latest album, Nine, was released in February 2025.
