PLA refill for 3D pen 3Doodler Create+. A 3D pen is a pen that extrudes heated or warm plastic from the pen’s nozzle. With a 3D pen you can draw a raised graphic on a piece of paper or any flat surface. But what makes a 3D pen truly unique is its ability to “draw” in mid-air, allowing you to instantly form 3D structures right in front of you, which you can pick up and hold in your hand.

The 3Doodler Start uses a proprietary, child-friendly PCL plastic made in a manufacturing facility in Ohio, USA. PLA is a sturdy, plant-based material that is great for sticking to paper, glass, cloth, and metal surfaces. Strands are biodegradable, odorless and non-toxic. They do not contain any DEHP or heavy metals. Use only the safest 3Doodler Start plastic strands. The use of other cartridges may cause damage to the 3D pen and affect its safety.

One plastic strand stretches to a maximum of ten times its original length once extruded by the pen. Create+ plastic strands are cut at 25cm in length with 3 mm diameter, providing you around 250cm of Doodling. The exact length will depend on how fast you draw and how thick or thin the line of extruded plastic is.
