The Temper Trap is an Australian indie rock band formed in 2005 in Melbourne by Dougy Mandagi, Jonathon Aherne, and Toby Dundas. Known for their atmospheric sound and soaring vocals, the band found international success with their debut album Conditions in 2009, featuring the hit single Sweet Disposition. After relocating to London in 2008, The Temper Trap continued to receive acclaim, winning multiple ARIA Awards, including Best Group and Best Rock Album. Their second, self-titled album was released in 2012, further cementing their reputation in the indie music scene.
