POWERWOLF is a German power metal band formed in 2004 in Saarbrücken by members of Red Aim. The lineup features vocalist Karsten Brill as Attila Dorn, guitarist Benjamin Buss as Matthew Greywolf, bassist and rhythm guitarist David Vogt as Charles Greywolf, keyboardist Christian Jost as Falk Maria Schlegel, and drummer Roel van Helden. Known for their theatrical stage presence, corpse paint, and dramatic costumes that change with each album, POWERWOLF stands out for blending religious imagery, gothic elements, and lyrical themes of werewolves and vampires into their music. Their discography includes notable releases like Return in Bloodred, Bible of the Beast, Preachers of the Night, and Wake Up the Wicked.
