Samuel Shepherd, born in 1986, is a British electronic music producer and DJ known as Floating Points. He founded Pluto Records, co-founded Eglo Records, and leads the 16-member Floating Points Ensemble. On July 15, 2024, he began his role as the 6 Music Artist in Residence.
