D'Addario PB070 Gitarrsträng

D'Addario PB070 Phosphor Bronze Single Acoustic String

The D'Addario PB070 is a single .070" gauge phosphor bronze wound string built specifically for acoustic guitar. It is sold as one replacement string rather than a full set, making it the practical choice when only one low-end string has broken or when a player wants to mix gauges for a custom feel. Phosphor Bronze was introduced to string making by D'Addario in 1974 and has become synonymous with warm, bright, and well-balanced acoustic tone. The string is precision wound with corrosion-resistant phosphor bronze onto a carefully drawn, hexagonally shaped, high carbon steel core. The result is a long-lasting, bright-sounding string with excellent intonation, manufactured in the U.S.A. to D'Addario's digitally controlled production standards.

Who It's For

This single .070" string is the right choice for acoustic guitar players who need to replace one low-end string without buying a whole new set. It suits players using light or custom phosphor bronze sets who want to keep the warm, balanced D'Addario tone across all six strings. Gigging musicians, teachers, and hobbyists who break an occasional bass string will appreciate the corrosion-resistant coating that helps the string hold its tone between sessions. The ball-end design drops straight into standard acoustic bridge pin holes, so installation takes only a moment. Whether the goal is to complete a custom gauge set or simply restore a worn low E or A string, this replacement delivers the same warm, bright character as the rest of the Phosphor Bronze line.
