Audio-Technica BPHS2Ca On-ear hörlurar

The BPHS2Ca is a variant of the BPHS2a broadcast headset fitted with a specific connector configuration for direct compatibility with particular broadcast consoles, intercom systems, or facility wiring standards that require the Ca connector termination. The miniature cardioid condenser boom microphone and closed-back stereo headphone drivers are acoustically and mechanically identical to the standard BPHS2a, with the Ca designation indicating only the connector and cable termination configuration.

Ca Connector Configuration

The Ca connector variant is designed for broadcast and production facilities that specify this particular termination for their headset infrastructure. This connector configuration eliminates the need for adapters in compatible systems and simplifies headset inventory management in facilities with standardized connector infrastructure across multiple headset positions.

BPHS2a Acoustic Performance

All acoustic specifications of the BPHS2Ca — including condenser boom microphone sensitivity, frequency response, headphone driver output, and closed-back isolation — match those of the standard BPHS2a. Broadcast operators can expect the same voice clarity, monitoring accuracy, and wearing comfort as the base model across extended production shifts.
