After Forever was a Dutch band known for their blend of symphonic and progressive metal, featuring both soprano vocals and death growls. The group disbanded in 2009. Key members went on to significant projects: Floor Jansen became the lead singer of Nightwish, having also worked with ReVamp, Star One, Epica, and MaYaN. Mark Jansen, after leaving After Forever, founded Epica and later MaYaN, bringing together several former bandmates. Their legacy lives on through their influence and the ongoing success of these related acts.
