Cubase Pro 16 UG from Art 6-11 — Upgrade Path for Long-Time Cubase Artist Owners

The Steinberg Cubase Pro 16 UG from Art 6-11 is a download upgrade that turns a registered Cubase Artist 6, 7, 8, 9, 10 or 11 licence into the full Cubase Pro 16 digital audio workstation. The upgrade is delivered by email and activated online, so installation only needs an internet connection. Once activated, the licence is perpetual, with no subscription required.

What the Pro 16 Upgrade Adds to Your Studio

The upgrade unlocks tools such as improved Stem Separation with dedicated piano and guitar separation, Spectral AudioWarp for time and pitch editing, Instrument Stacks, the DrumChain multi-effect unit, and VocalTouch for streamlined vocal processing. The FM Modules pack adds over 200 presets using HALion Sonic's FM engine.

Who This Cubase Pro 16 Upgrade Is For

Cubase Pro 16 is the right choice for Cubase Artist 6-11 owners who want to move up to the Pro tier at a lower cost than a full new licence. It suits home studio producers and composers who need Pro-only tools such as Control Room, VCA faders, and Dolby Atmos rendering. The system needs 16 GB of RAM, 89 GB of free drive space, and macOS 15+ or Windows 10+ (64-bit).
