Ty Dolla Sign, born Tyrone William Griffin Jr. on April 13, 1982, is an American singer, songwriter, musician, record producer, and rapper from Los Angeles. He first gained attention in 2010 for his feature on YG's hit single Toot It and Boot It. After signing with Atlantic Records and Wiz Khalifa’s Taylor Gang Entertainment, he broke into the mainstream with his Beach House EP in 2014, featuring the successful singles Paranoid and Or Nah. His debut album Free TC came out in 2015, followed by Beach House 3 and Featuring Ty Dolla Sign, which became his highest charting solo album. Ty Dolla Sign is also known for his collaborative projects, including MihTy with Jeremih, Cheers to the Best Memories with Dvsn, and Vultures with Kanye West, which topped the Billboard 200 chart. Widely recognized for his signature hooks, he has contributed to major hits like Work from Home by Fifth Harmony, Psycho by Post Malone, and Hot Girl Summer by Megan Thee Stallion.
