Creed is an American rock band from Tallahassee, Florida, formed in 1994. Rising to prominence during the post-grunge era of the late 1990s and early 2000s, Creed achieved massive commercial success with their first three albums, all earning multi-platinum status. Their second album, Human Clay, included the Grammy-winning hit With Arms Wide Open and was certified diamond in the US. Creed has sold over 28 million records domestically and more than 53 million worldwide, making them one of the best-selling acts of the 2000s. The band’s classic lineup features Scott Stapp on vocals, Mark Tremonti on guitar, Scott Phillips on drums, and Brian Marshall on bass. After a brief breakup in 2004, the members pursued other projects, most notably Alter Bridge. Creed reunited in 2009 with the album Full Circle and toured until 2012, then returned again in 2023, announcing new tours for 2024 and 2025.
