Royal Blood is an English rock duo from Worthing, formed in 2011. The band features Mike Kerr, who handles vocals, bass guitar, and piano, and Ben Thatcher on drums. Known for their powerful sound, Royal Blood stands out through Kerr’s unique technique of making his bass guitar deliver both guitar and bass tones with the use of effects pedals. Since signing with Warner Chappell Music in 2013, they have released four studio albums, including their self-titled debut, How Did We Get So Dark, Typhoons, and Back to the Water Below.
