Colourless Gutta. If you do not use gutta, your colours will run and spread across the silk. These colourless guttas allow you to outline areas of colour without leaving any marks on the finished work. Apply using an applicator bottle with a nib. It is recommended to test the line before applying the paint to ensure the gutta is fully watertight — for example by dripping a little water onto the silk or holding the fabric up to the light to check that there are no gaps in the line.
