The TC Electronic Flashback 2 X4 is TC's flagship delay pedal, expanding the compact Flashback 2 into a wider floor unit with three footswitches, a dedicated Tap switch, and a 40-second looper. Built around 10 delay types and 6 TonePrint slots, this model covers tape, analog, crystal, and digital delay flavors, with the Crystal algorithm doubling as a reverb-flavored shimmer texture. Stereo I/O and analog-dry-through preserve the dry signal in pure analog form.

Three pressure-sensitive MASH footswitches give this pedal its expressive edge, letting players swell feedback, modulate repeats, or shift parameters by varying foot pressure. The Crystal algorithm, built around TC's polyphonic octave engine from the SUB 'N' UP Octaver, produces an otherworldly shimmer.
