Plan 9 is a neo-psychedelic band from Rhode Island, active since 1979. Drawing inspiration for their name from the cult classic film Plan 9 from Outer Space, the band is known for blending the free-spirited energy of 1960s rock with a fresh, modern edge. In 2017, Plan 9 was honored with induction into the Rhode Island Music Hall of Fame.
