Celebrating its 10th Anniversary in 2014, the Rockerverb Series demonstrates better than anything else that a workhorse amp can be a master of all trades. The original Rockerverb was actually our first ever ‘high gain’ amplifier, with a unique voice that quickly became a firm favourite amongst the heavy crowd. However, its supreme versatility and dependability meant the series has been a mainstay for touring artists and session aces, both on the road and in the studio.
The Rockerverb 100 MKIII head combines over a decade of user feedback with a number of new details and improvements. In a first for the Rockerverb Series, the MKIIIs include selectable output power options to manipulate headroom and volume, with the 100 Watt version switching down to 70, 50 or 30W. The MKIII also features the same footswitchable attenuator that has been so popular with users of our Thunderverb and Dual Dark Series amps.
The Clean channel has been revoiced on the MKIIIs for a more ‘chimey’ response. The clean side now has even greater headroom than previous models, whilst still retaining the warmth and vintage character of a non-master volume design. Also, the valve driven spring reverb now has a more extensive range with a brighter trail. Add to this a host of other hidden refinements and you have the finest sounding and most feature-laden Rockerverb to date.
Hlava přišla v docela malé krabici, jen jedna vrstva kartónu, ale i přes značnou váhu naprosto bez poškození. Na časté přenášení je poněkud těžší, ale to se samozřejmě musí předpokládat. Kombinací přepínačů lze snížit výkon až na 30 W a zabudovaným attenuatorem snížit výkon tak, že lze hrát v bytě dokonce i v noci :) Potenciometry nemají plynulý chod, aretují se na stupních. To může být dobré z hlediska uchování nastavení a nemusí, když jeden stupeň je málo a další už moc. Co se týká zvuku, zvykám si :) Zvuk se dere dravě ven a působí dost povědomě. Každý si musí poladit podle sebe. Distortionem ořezaný zvuk na čistém kanálu zní super, ale ztratí přísnost a začne působit hodným dojmem :)
Great amp. Massive sound even at bedroom level (thanks to the built-in attenuator). The dirty channel has a lot of dynamics and is useable for every style of music. The clean channel worth it too with plenty of headroom and is great for ambient music.
This is a great amp. Not cheap but worth it. It sounds really good. Not as many options as other guitar amps but enough to shape the sound. The attenuator knob is fun. You can play your 100watt amp at home without bothering the neighbors.
Well packed in original box. Fast shipping too! This is the first time I ordered at Muziker but everything went well.
