The components of the Venom Spot 150 SPY moving head are enclosed in a solid, durable, black plastic, compact housing. The well-thought-out design allowed to reduce the weight of the entire device to 8.7 kg, which makes this stage spotlight the lightest, and at the same time the most mobile and highly functional stage lighting from the Venom family. The equipment is equipped with a rotating color wheel with 7 color filters. In addition, it has two gobo wheels - static and rotating - on which there are a total of 12 different patterns shaping the light beam. An additional advantage of the LED head is the ability to create an effect resembling the movement of water, as well as a 3-arm prism that splits the light beam. The main lens is surrounded by a fully programmable LED ring made of 24 RGB LEDs. The whole is complemented by a motorized focus that provides full control over the sharpness of the edges of the patterns displayed on the surfaces.

The lower part of the Venom Spot 150 SPY is equipped with two quick couplers that allow the movable head to work on lighting ramps and trusses in a hanging position. For comfortable and safe carrying, solid handles are used on both sides of the stage spotlight base. At the rear, there are power connectors, including the so-called "Pass it on" for direct voltage transfer from fixture to fixture, and XLR inputs and outputs for DMX control signals. In the front part there is a control panel in the form of a clear, color LCD display and four buttons (Menu, Enter, Up, Down). With their help, we can choose one of several operating modes of the device:

A car in which the headlight works independently using built-in work programs;
Sound, in which the LED head synchronizes its work with the sounds of music coming from the environment using a very sensitive, built-in microphone;
Master / Slave, when individual units are connected in series with each other via DMX sockets and wires, and the operation of one of the devices is duplicated by the others, which creates the impression of synchronous work of the entire set;
DMX when external desks, consoles and control systems are used to control the operation of a single spotlight or a group of units.
A specially designed protective system protects the LED head from overheating and damage. When the temperature of the device reaches 40 ° C, the silent fans are automatically turned on, while in the case of further temperature increase and reaching 70 ° C, the power of the LED light is reduced by half.
