7'' subwoofer with 100 W power. Since all TS subwoofers have a passive radiator. Your system will sound as a whole, not just a sum of parts. Every ThunderStorm subwoofer has detailed controls like switchable satellite filters (full range and 80 Hz), phase switch controls (0 °, 180 °). and variable subwoofer filter frequencies (60 Hz - 140 Hz) to let you tailor and adjust your ThunderStorm to your specific room. tried the Eris 8BT subwoofer before the TS107: the Eris was noisy and had a permanent broom like a transformer noise coming out of the speaker. also the Eris does not go below 45Hz (despite its specs saying it drops to 30Hz). Also it had a mushy / diffused and undefined bass. Also it makes the monitors pop each time it turns ON or OFF. i had to return the Eris because it was not worth it for me. In comparison, the Ts107 is dead silent and i can hear it drops down to 37Hz. I use it with a pair of studio monitors for playing electric guitar and bass. It has a much clearer and focused sound and overall a much articulated bass response. i am verry happy with the purchase.

Dieser kleine Sub ist unglaublich! Unglaublich gut. Er ergänzt bei mir die sc203 und ersetzt einen Vorgänger, den ich nicht nennen mag. Der Bass ist absolut präzise und tönt noch viel selbstverständlicher, als ich es mir erhofft hatte. Aber (das gilt wahrscheinlich für alle Subs): die Aufstellung muss penibelst genau in Relation zu den Satelliten sein, sonst kommt es im Bereich der Übergangsfrequenz zu argen Interferenzen.
