It is a 300-watt system built around two custom-designed SU65147CM 6.5 inch full-range drivers, developed and assembled in Denmark. Rather than reshaping the sound, CM Acoustic is engineered to reproduce it accurately. The amplifier maintains transient integrity, preserves harmonic separation, and retains low-end definition without artificial compression or exaggerated coloration.

Responsiveness is central to the design. An acoustic amplifier should not impose a signature; it should follow the player. When you play lightly, the system remains open and articulate. When you increase attack, the amplifier reacts immediately to the transient without adding edge or flattening the response. The initial pick impact stays defined, the body resonance remains stable, and the midrange does not collapse under dynamic pressure. Harmonics stay separated instead of smearing together as volume rises. The circuit tracks changes in touch with precision, remaining composed at higher output levels and controlled without becoming sterile.

The speaker system plays a critical role in that behavior. The SU65147CM drivers are specified for predictable electrical load, stable sensitivity, and controlled excursion. With natural resonance around 100 Hz, the cabinet delivers a tight and supportive low end without uncontrolled bloom. The ferrite motor structure maintains cone control under dynamic load, and the linear excursion range ensures the system remains stable when pushed. The result is a balanced projection that feels closer to a compact full-range monitoring system than a traditional acoustic combo, but without losing the immediacy of a dedicated instrument amplifier.

CM Acoustic features two fully independent channels designed for transparent signal handling. The instrument channel provides gain, a 3-band EQ with sweepable midrange from 220 Hz to 5.1 kHz, limiter, EQ bypass, reverb and volume. The microphone channel includes balanced XLR input with +48V phantom power, limiter and overload indication. CM Acoustic is engineered primarily for acoustic guitar, yet reproduces vocals and additional instruments with the same transparency. Each channel behaves consistently whether used independently or together, allowing precise level balancing without unintended tonal interaction.

For live environments, the amplifier integrates practical control features without complicating operation. The limiter manages peak dynamics, the phase switch assists in feedback control, EQ bypass provides direct reference comparison, and reverb can be muted via external footswitch. The balanced XLR DI output mirrors the amplifier signal path, ensuring consistent translation to front-of-house or recording systems.

The cabinet is mechanically reinforced with solid wood side panels, contributing structural stability and controlled resonance behavior. The enclosure volume is optimized for the specified drivers, ensuring predictable acoustic loading. The design remains refined and understated, suitable for professional environments while fitting naturally into a home setting.
