Brand New

Brand New is a rock band from Long Island, New York, formed in 2000 by Jesse Lacey, Vincent Accardi, Garrett Tierney, and Brian Lane. After early beginnings in local bands, they released their pop punk debut "Your Favorite Weapon" in 2001, followed by "Deja Entendu" in 2003, which saw them develop a more indie and experimental sound and earned them critical praise. Their third album, "The Devil and God Are Raging Inside Me," released in 2006, is widely regarded as a landmark in modern emo and alternative rock. Later, with albums like "Daisy" and "Science Fiction," Brand New continued to evolve, achieving both commercial success and a dedicated fan base. Known for their artistic growth and influential albums, Brand New briefly became inactive after 2017 and controversy surrounding Lacey, but returned for a reunion show in 2024 and announced a US tour for 2025.
