HOW TO USE:

  BEFORE USING BOVEDA:  

• ALWAYS insert Boveda into a holder before using in your instrument case. The holder acts as a liquid barrier if a packet is accidentally punctured and extends the life of your Boveda packets. The patented interior material allows water vapor to pass through to your instrument. The exterior is soft, like a polishing cloth, so it doesn’t scratch your instrument. 
• DO NOT mix different Boveda RH levels including Boveda B49HA within the same instrument case.  
• DO NOT use other humidification products with Boveda in the same case because they will fight against each other and reduce the efficiency of Boveda.

         
  STEP-BY-STEP INSTRUCTIONS:
 

1.   Remove the clear overwrap from the packet. (DO NOT OPEN the Boveda itself.)
2. Insert one (1) unwrapped Boveda into each pouch of each holder.
3. Place in the case anywhere that allows for airflow and prevents puncture when you close the case.
4. Close the case's lid. Always keep your instrument case closed when using Boveda.

• Into the sound hole

Single holder:

• Under the neck or headstock

• Under the tailpiece

  PACKAGING: Each Boveda in these kits is individually overwrapped. An unopened Boveda is good for up to two years.

LIFESPAN: Replace Boveda 2-way humidity packets every three months.  

ACCURACY: Achieves and maintains a constant relative humidity (RH) range between 40% and 60%, the industry standard for wooden instruments.
