BFD 8 Bit Kit is the brainchild of S. Husky Hoskulds, whose 8 Bit Audio production company has engineered groundbreaking recordings for artists like Tom Waits, Fantômas, Joe Henry, and The Wallflowers. The core philosophy of 8 Bit Kit is to deliver sounds that are not only fascinating but truly different. Imagine kicks detuned and struck with paint rollers or even with chains attached, or modified snares featuring unusual calf-skin or Kevlar heads.
