Glucose is a sugar with a special function in the body. It is the only form of sugar that flows in the blood and reaches the whole body, where it is used as a constant, ready-to-use energy source or it is sufficiently stored in the muscles and liver as glycogen (a macromolecule composed of glucose molecules).

It helps patients to overcome diseases and accelerates the recovery of the organism exhausted by sport, illness and work. Glucose is as rich in calories as beetroot sugar, but has a lower sweetness - of about 20%. A teaspoon of glucose sweetens like 0.8 teaspoon of sugar.
