Ultra-compact and ultra-lightweight short-scale travel electric bass guitar that is a part of the Ultra-Light series and features the proprietary In-Body Tuning System uses standard tuning machines relocated into the body, eliminating the need for a headstock. As a result, this instrument provides the same playing experience you are used to on an instrument that is 25 percent shorter and 61 percent lighter than a typical full size bass guitar. The bass guitar features a custom Shadow under-saddle piezo pickup with standard 6.3mm output so it can be plugged into any amplifier, while the built-in thumb rest and removable lap-rest frame allow you to play in comfort, even in the tightest of spaces. The body and the one-piece neck are both made of Eastern American hard maple and feature a neck-through-body construction. The neck is fitted with an ebonized rosewood fingerboard with vintage clay dot inlays and 22 medium frets. Scale length is 762 mm, nut width is 44.45 mm. Other features include closed-gear chrome hardware (14:1 gear ratio) and D’Addario EXL 165 strings. This instrument is the perfect solution for travelling players unwilling to compromise on playability, but still looking for a small and light solution.
