Compact electric travel guitar from Speedster Hot Rod series that is built for portability and performance with a full 628.65mm-scale neck, a Dual-rail humbucker pickup and a built-in classic Pocket Rock-it headphone amp, which produces clean and distortion tones through headphones or an amp. In addition, the Speedster Hot Rod is loaded with a 3.5mm inch aux-in jack so players can plug in an mp3 player and jam along to their favourite songs. The final touch is a sleek racing stripe underlining the new Hot Rod logo. The body and the neck of the instrument are both made of Eastern American hard maple wood and feature a neck-through-body construction. The neck is fitted an ebonized rosewood with 22 medium frets and pearloid dot inlays. Nut width is 44.45 mm. Other features include closed-gear chrome tuners (14:1 ratio) and D’Addario EXL110 strings. The guitar fits neatly inside its included gig bag and stows easily in airline overhead compartments.
