Electro-acoustic guitar from 200 series that features Taylor’s signature Grand Auditorium body shape which embodies the ultimate all-purpose acoustic, and the Venetian cutaway known for its soft, round lines. This model also features an aesthetic update in form of attractive layered Hawaiian koa veneer back and sides, combined with a solid Sitka spruce top that produces a broad dynamic range and accommodates a versatile range of playing styles. Upgraded internal forward shifted pattern bracing dials up the guitar’s sonic horsepower to provide the top with more dynamic range. Clean appointments include white binding, Italian acrylic dot inlays, a faux tortoise shell pickguard, an ebony peghead overlay, and satin-finish back and sides with a glossy top. Sapele neck is connected to the body via scarf joint and is fitted with an ebony fingerboard with 20 frets. Scale length is 647.7 mm. The guitar is equipped with the onboard Taylor Expression System 2 pickup that captures more of a guitar’s dynamic properties using a breakthrough behind-the-saddle design. Other features include tusq nut fret and Micarta saddle, black plastic truss rod cover, chrome tuners (100/200), plastic three-ring rosette and Elixir Phosphor Bronze Light strings.
