Electric guitar from FR series that emphasizes the refined simplicity: its mahogany body balances physical comfort with richness of tone, while the FR’s radical departure from tradition – the thin Wizard III maple neck – offers a level of fingerboard performance that Ibanez players have raved about for decades. The neck is fitted with a two-octave, 24-fret rosewood fingerboard with mother of pearl dot inlays and 400mm radius. Scale length is 648 mm, nut width is 43 mm. The guitar is equipped with custom-designed Core-Tone pickups – passive single-coil in the neck position, passive humbucker in the bridge position. Both of them feature an Alnico magnet and provide a warm yet cutting sound. Other features include a fixed bridge, gold hardware and string with gauges .010/.013/.017/.026/.036/.046.
