Hollow-body guitar from 5th Avenue series that brings player back to a time when this type of guitar reigned supreme. With the soul of a 1950’s archtop, it is a true vintage spirit of yesterday with today’s level of modern playability. With more projection and volume in the low/mids than traditional archtop, its dynamically rich tone makes this sophisticated instrument a dream to play, but not a nightmare to pay for. From alt-country, delta blues, slide, jazz to rock, it can really deliver both acoustically and electrically. It is equipped with the Godin Kingpin P90 single-coil pickup that delivers all that classic, vintage tone with presence, clarity and a little attitude thrown in for good measure. Sound can be controlled by Volume and Tone controls. Made from Canadian wild cherry, the body of the guitar features a molded arched top and back, as well as an adjustable tusq bridge by GraphTech, classic f-holes, contoured high-gloss headstock, floating pickguard and cream binding. Also, the rustic beauty of its Custom Polished Finish creates a gorgeous satin sheen reminiscent of the French polish of the 19th century. The Silver Leaf maple neck is fitted with a rosewood fingerboard with 16”/406mm radius. Scale length is 630 mm, nut width is 43.7 mm. Cognac Burst colour design.
