The 88-key keyboard with Yamaha's GHS (Graded Hammer Standard) weighted action has heavier touch in the low end and lighter touch in the high end, just like the hammers inside an acoustic piano. Plus, the matte finish of the black keys is less slippery when playing for extended periods of time. The tweeter driver position has been improved to be in line with the ears of the performer, which results in brighter and more expressive melody lines and treble passages. The piano provides a variety of on-board drum rhythms for practice or performance, from basic rock to shuffle and swing beats. It is also loaded with a variety of rich Voices, from pianos to electric pianos, organs, strings, bass and more. These Voices can be enhanced by four different reverbs that can be adjusted to the user’s preference (Recital Hall, Concert Hall, Salon, Club). Other features include the Pianist Styles function with 10 carefully selected styles that allows user to play the chords in the left hand and transforms them into lush accompaniment patterns. This leaves the right hand free to play other melodies and chords, or add musical flare to the Pianist Style accompaniment. AUX ¬Out jacks allow audio to be sent to an external amplifier or powered speaker for powerful performances during live events, parties and a wide variety of situations. These professional 6.3mm jacks connect without disabling the built-in speakers when using the headphone output.
