You can turn on the ID (rise / fall) function during leisure time play. This will include the slope of the terrain in the distance calculation, which is critical for uphill or downhill. You can also activate the actual distance measurement LED, which signals compliance with the measurement rules when competing.
If ground distance compensation is disabled, the actual distance measurement LED informs teammates that you are not using ID mode.
The DUAL LOCKED ON QUAKE function informs you that the distance to the flag has been measured, allowing you to aim at the hole and not at a tree or other object that may be in the way. The laser rangefinder provides a visual indication and vibrates gently with precise aiming.
