Elite’s Cannibal XC is the cage of the range made with castor-oil bio-based plastics.
- The aim is to create a more sustainable production model for cages based on renewable sources. The bio-based Cannibal XC cage is made largely from a sustainable polymer, produced from castor oil plant as a raw material source, instead of industrial fossil resources. Less material obtained from fossil fuels, same impact resistance.
- This cage is reinforced with fiberglass construction for durability and wraps completely around the bottle for security with an elastomer section to allow the cage to automatically adjust for different bottle shapes.
A more sustainable production model

We have decided early on to do everything in our power to reduce our ecological and carbon footprint. We are excited to start new strategies to provide our customers with more ecological friendly products and raw materials of excellent quality for resistance and durability.
- Elite’s Cannibal XC is made of 62.5 % bio-based plastic material produced through fermentation from renewable biomass sources, in this case castor oil. We decided to make use of bioplastics and biomass feedstocks for production as a more circular solution to conventional plastics made from petrol.
