Jackson JS Series RR Minion JS1XM Snow White — Compact Rhoads Power

The Jackson JS Series RR Minion JS1XM in Snow White brings full-size metal energy in a 2/3-scale Rhoads body made for young musicians and players on the road. Crafted from poplar and featuring a bolt-on maple neck with graphite reinforcement, this model stands up to aggressive playing yet remains comfortable for those with smaller hands. Its smaller size does not limit its punch, making it perfect for practice, gigs, or travel.

What Makes This Rhoads Unique

Players benefit from the tilt-back, pointed 6-in-line headstock, which evens out string tension at the nut and helps tuning hold steady during heavy riffing. The string-through-body hardtail bridge with block saddles boosts vibration transfer to the body for greater sustain and clarity, especially in the low end. High-output ceramic-magnet humbuckers provide a thick, cutting tone, so this instrument embodies the Jackson sound in a portable package.

Comfortable Short Scale for Travel and Young Hands

The 2/3-scale layout means frets are closer together, reducing hand stretch and making complex chords or fast runs more manageable for those with smaller hands.

• Scale Length: 572 mm — reduces fatigue and makes fret spacing easier for beginners
• Fingerboard Radius: 305 mm — a 12" radius is a good balance for chording and bending
• With a Nut Width of 41.3 mm, the neck suits both smaller hands and fast riffing without compromise.

Jackson High-Output Humbuckers for Heavy Genres

Equipped with a pair of Jackson high-output humbuckers featuring ceramic magnets, this guitar produces sustaining, thick tone that resists getting muddy under distortion. The straightforward control layout—three-way blade switch, single volume, and single tone—keeps things fast and functional.

• Pickup Configuration: HH — versatile setup for both clean and high-gain sounds
• Bridge Pickup: Jackson High-Output Humbucking — designed for tight lows and sharp highs
• Neck Pickup: Jackson High-Output Humbucking — provides warmth and fullness for rhythm and clean passages

Poplar Body, Maple Neck, and Durable Hardware

Weighing about 2.72 kg, the poplar body ensures the guitar remains lightweight while still offering solid resonance. The maple neck with graphite rods resists warping due to temperature and tension changes, and the satin finish lets your hand glide quickly when playing fast passages.

• Body Material: Poplar — lightweight and resonant for a balanced tone
• Neck Material: 1-Piece Maple — bolt-on design with graphite rods for lasting stability
• Bridge: 6-Saddle String-Through-Body Hardtail with Block Saddles — enhances intonation and sustain
• Jackson sealed die-cast tuners are made for reliable tuning even with changes in temperature.

Who Will Love This Minion?

Those starting their metal journey, especially younger players or anyone needing a smaller instrument, will find this model fits perfectly without compromising on tone. Adult musicians looking for a travel-sized guitar with real Jackson punch will appreciate its compactness and aggression. The short scale helps with long practice hours, while the hardtail bridge and humbuckers keep the sound powerful in any heavy music setting.

Jackson — The Iconic Metal Choice

Jackson guitars have shaped the sound of hard rock and metal legends from Iron Maiden to Metallica. Randy Rhoads inspired the Rhoads body shape, which remains a symbol of metal to this day. The JS Series makes this tradition accessible, and the Minion brings it to players looking for a shorter-scale, more manageable instrument.
