Custom Bb soprano saxophone from Custom Z series that is based on the scale and design of the classic Yamaha '62' models, featuring a body made of a special ‘French’ brass alloy for lighter weight, a great playing 'feel', and a great of tonal flexibility. It plays evenly in all ranges, and gives the player a huge dynamic range for as much – or as little – sound as he wants. The fixed, curved neck provides a balanced resistance and a round, even sound, while the added high F# key allows for more alternate fingerings and a true high F#. The instrument features an adjustable thumb-rest to allow for precise and comfortable hand and fingering position, and an ergonomic key design: the keys are designed to provide a natural and ergonomic hand position. The lower vent tubing design reduces noise on lower vent key action and a revised rib plate provides a solid feel while enhancing resonance. New bullet tip adjustment screw design allows for easy maintenance. Hand engraving on the bell adds beauty and style. Other features include yellow brass keys with mother-of-pearl buttons, drawn tone holes, Yamaha 4CM mouthpiece with yellow brass cap and ligature, waterproof leather and wool felt pads with plastic tone boosters and ribbed and flanged mounting. The saxophone comes in slim, lightweight case which provides excellent protection. A convenient shoulder strap is also included. Silver-plated finish.
