The soft silicone keywaves of Seaboard RISE 49 open up a new way to shape sound and make music through Five Dimensions of Touch. These movements are intuitive, so you can quickly start playing with far more expression than ever before. Seaboard RISE comes with a bundle of high-powered programs from ROLI and other creators of cutting-edge music software: Equator, Strobe2, Cypher2 Player. Knobs, wheels, cords and clutter are gone. In its place is a sleek, simplified interface that is totally intuitive. It’s all based on touch: XY Touchpad, Touch Faders, Octave Shift, Preset Browser, On/Off and MIDI Mode. The Press, Glide, and Slide Touch Faders let you adjust the touch-responsiveness of the Seaboard RISE interface. Control how the surface behaves when you press into it and move your fingers side to side and up and down. Minimize these expression controls, and Seaboard RISE responds like a piano keyboard. Maximize them, and you have a totally expressive playing surface.
