PC3 sound engine, while the factory installed, KORE 64 powered synths, electric guitars, horns, drums and percussion expand the sonic pallet. It also offers the KB3 ToneReal Organs, modelled after classic Hammond, Vox and Farfisa organs, and all the necessary controls, including 9 realistic drawbars. In total, the piano offers more than 1300 factory programs, providing a wealth of sounds from classic to modern. A serious collection starting with the Artis German 9' Grand Piano, PC3 Series Vintage Electric Pianos, Clavinets, Synthesizers, rich and realistic String Sections and Orchestras, Guitars, Percussion and much more. The powerful FX engine provides hundreds of award-winning Reverbs, Delays, Choruses, Flangers, Phasers, Distortions, Rotary Amplifiers, Compressors and more, with built-in Global Master EQ and Multiband Compressor. The keyboard features 88 velocity and aftertouch sensitive keys with fully-weighted hammer-action, plus a quick release spring, striking an ideal balance of playability between piano type parts and synth/organ parts. The piano offers layer and split combinations to inspire, as well as setups that provide the tools to take command of the live performances, featuring up to 16 independent zones, effects, controller assignments, triggerable pattern-based “Riffs” and 16 arpeggiators. It is also equipped with 29 programmable physical controllers including 9 sliders, 10 switches, 2 wheels, mono pressure, Super Ribbon input, breath controller input, 3 Switch Pedal inputs and 2 Continuous Control Pedal inputs; plus convenient -/+ transpose controls that are located right on-screen. The sound catalogue can be organized and bookmarked as needed and the selections can be recalled with one button press. Saving, loading, OS updates and MIDI functionality are all made easy on the PC3A with both on-board USB Host and Device ports.
